Dr John James

JJames-round-200pxJohn is the Director and Chief Learner at High Impact Training. He is passionate about learning and helping others to learn and build their capacity to enable change and innovation. For his PhD, he investigated the factors that affect the adoption of Web 2.0 technologies. You can read a summary of his PhD thesis or download the whole document.

After completing a degree in horticultural science, John’s first role was as an industry development officer. During that time he created an industry newsletter, an information centre and delivered numerous technical workshops for the nursery and cut flower industries. He also completed a Masters degree focusing on business management, psychology and adult learning. That then led him to work at the Rural Extension Centre, coordinating the delivery of post-graduate courses in agricultural extension. He specialises in designing and delivering online engagement and learning activities. 

Liz Todd

Liz Todd_circle_200pxLiz helps develop and deliver the HIT webinars and workshops. She brings her fifteen years of natural resource management and sustainable agriculture work to help deliver innovative and effective training. She has a passion for working with people interested in advancing outcomes for our natural resources, environment, agriculture and communities.

She has a degree in Applied Science and training in project management, facilitation, monitoring and evaluation, and training and assessment. Liz has refined skills in strategic planning, project development and management, and funding applications.
