A: We have designed the learning experience to ensure that you’ll achieve the greatest impact possible from the training.
Firstly, each workshop will be hand-crafted to meet the specific needs of the participants, based on the results of a pre-workshop survey. We’ll list the 10 or 20 items that will be covered in the face-to-face workshop, and ask you to rate your existing knowledge and confidence against each item. We’ll then collate that and provide the results to the learning facilitator beforehand, so they can design the workshop to best meet the needs of your group and spend more time on the items you want to learn about.
During the workshop we’ll use purposefully designed activities to help you build the knowledge and confidence you need for each topic. There will be a good balance between theory and practice – so you’ll not only know what to do but why. While the activities will be lively and engaging, we won’t go over the top and use touchy-feely activities just for the sake of it.
Before the workshop concludes, you’ll create an action learning plan outlining how you will apply your new learning in your workplace. You’ll be invited to share that with the group so they can suggest ideas and resources that might be helpful.
You then return to your workplace and we’ll support you for 60 days afterwards, to ensure you apply and embed your new learning. We’ll use webinars to re-engage with you at both 30 days and 60 days so you can tell us how you are going with implementing your plan.
Plus when you register, we’ll ask you for the name and email address of your manager (who presumably is providing the funds for your professional development). We’ll contact them before the workshop and encourage them to discuss the workshop with you and outline how they will plan to support you when you return to the workplace. That will get them thinking about making space in your work schedule to allow you to apply your new learning in the first 30 days. We’ll prompt them to think about any other resources you might need too, so they can get the greatest return on the investment they are making.
This will ensure it won’t be ‘just another workshop’ but instead a high impact training event to transform the way you work.
Q: What are start and finish times for the workshops?
A: Generally the workshops will start at 10:00 am and finish at 5:00 pm on the first day, and start at 8:30 am and finish at 3:30 pm on the final day. We’ve done this to help our clients in regional areas to avoid peak hour traffic when travelling to our events. Who doesn’t hate peak hour traffic?
Q: How long do the workshops go for?
A: Most of our workshops go for two days, though occasionally some will be shorter or longer.
Q: What technology do I need to join the web meetings after the workshop?
A: We use GoToWebinar so you just need any computer (PC or Mac) or mobile device (iOS, Android, Windows) with Internet access.
Q: Can you deliver a course for me at my location if I get enough people together?
A: Sure! If you can get at least 15 people together, we can deliver the workshop when and where it suits you. So just contact us and let us know.
Q: Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Sure, you can transfer your enrolment to someone else from your organisation up to 48 hours before the event is to start.
Q: What is the refund policy?
If you give us 14 days notice before the start date of the workshop, we will refund your money in full. Otherwise you’ll be liable for a $200 admin fee.

If when you complete one of our workshops, you are not 100% happy with your experience, just ask for a refund and your registration fee will be 100% refunded. We’re just that confident that our workshops are going to make a difference in your workplace. To be eligible, you need to have been present (both physically and mentally) for the whole workshop. If you skip sections of the workshop, then you’re not experiencing the full product. You need to request the refund in writing within three months of the conclusion of the workshop.
